Gabion box also called Gabion Basket, Gabion Mesh , Gabion Wire Mesh etc.Gabion cage is the gabion which are woven by the hexagonal mesh, the diameter thickness depends on the mesh size, the dia. is between 2.0mm to 4.0mmbion .
Gabion cage is a double twisted gabion wire mesh of heavy galvanized wire / ZnAl(Galfan)coated wire / PVC or PE coated wires,Gabions are widely used in many fields , such as flood controling , retaining wall , river bank protection etc.

Characteristic: water infiltrated, long useful time, easy to handle; Unlike hexagonal units, Hightop’s Welded Gabion Box hold their shape better - they don’t bulge out when filled. They are easy to handle, which means more work, less labor and higher productivity the job.

Field installation is quick and easy. In fact, installation time can be as much as 40% less than required by hex type gabions. With diaphragms and stiffeners installed, the gabion box may be filled with standard loading equipment. After filling the Welded Gabion Box, a lid is placed on top and secured with binders, lacing wire or “C” rings.
